Assuming there are 218 links in Example Category:
- With the switch on, you'll see "Example Category (218)"
- With the switch off, you'll see just "Example Category"

At Admin Panel -> Settings -> Switches, the "show listings count by category" switch enables the display of the number of listings in a category next to the category everywhere a category is displayed.
Assuming there are 218 links in Example Category:
