Sometimes, instead of displaying files from topics in a forum, you want to display a separate set of files that's associated with the forum but not with any of the topics in the forum. That's what the "forum file uploads" switch is for.

When enabled, a bulk upload button appears on the submit forum and edit forum pages (unless the jquery bulk uploader switch is turned off, in which case you'll see a single upload field). You can control the number of files that can be uploaded here at Admin -> Forums -> Forum Settings -> Maximum Files Per Forum (default is 10).

If you upload images, you'll see a row of thumbnails just below the forum description on the forum display page. If the topic details slideshow switch is turned on, clicking one of the thumbnails will open a lightbox slideshow... otherwise clicking the thumbnail will download the image.

Non-images that you attach to the forum will display in a bulleted list of download links just below the images.
