Opening External Links in a New Window

At Admin -> Templates -> Settings you have an option "External links appendage". You can type
target="blank"
here if you want outgoing links to open in a new window instead of the current one, though you should be aware this can annoy some users.In order to make any new template customizations you do obey this, use <a href="someexternallink" {EXTERNALLINKS}> in linking applicable urls.
If you're using WSN Links with hits tracking on, note that the one thing you can't affix to external links is an onclick event, since that's already used for hits tracking.
