Opening External Links in a New Window

At Admin Panel -> Themes -> Settings you have an option "External links appendage". You can type target="blank"
here if you want outgoing links to open in a new window instead of the current one, though you should be aware this can annoy some users.
In order to make any new template customizations you do obey this, use <a href="someexternallink" {EXTERNALLINKS}> in linking applicable urls.
