Sometimes you may wish to censor bad words or common spam URLs. To do this, go to Admin Panel -> Miscellaneous -> Censor / Replace.
Simply type what you wish to censor and what you wish to replace it with. To uncensor, find the censor in the list and click the 'delete' link next to it.
Censoring applies to all articles, categories, comments and member profiles. There's an option on the page to choose whether titles should be censored -- if this is off, then only the description or body text is censored.
The censor/replace option could be used creatively to do any number of text replacement tasks. If you wish to place a link to google around each mention anyone makes of google, you could 'censor' the word google and replace it with google. One might use this for advertising, adding affiliate links to keywords, though this practice is questionable.
