Note that you have these three checkbox options:
Put all links in one category (don't create subcategories) - this dumps all the links from the report file into the one specified category.
Only import first level, ignore all data in subcategories - this only reads the first level of your report file and throws away all the rest of the data.
Only import category structure, ignore all links - this imports the categories from the report file, but doesn't import any links at all (leaves them as empty categories).
