If you have ever submitted a website to one of the major search engines, you have learned placement is everything.

If you're on an Apache server, or a Windows IIS server with ISAPI Rewrite or another mod_rewrite compatiable facility, you can make your categories accessible by a simple yoursite.com/wsn/catname/ url

Meta tags give search engines basic information about a page.

Canonical tags help tell search engines how to avoid duplicate content on your site. See http://www.canonicaltag.com/ to learn about canonical tags. WSN uses canonical tags by default.

At Admin Panel -> Settings -> SEO you have the option to block spiders from non-critical pages. This serves a dual purpose.

The 'blog ping' switch enables pings on each new listing added.

At Admin -> Settings -> Switches, there's a 'sitemap' option. When activated, there's a link at the very bottom of every page to a sitemap page which shows all the site's categories and subcategories.
