Download the server test script from the front page of the website to determine if you can run WSN.
Approximately 5 megabytes of disk space is required to install, and more will be needed depending on the number of listings, categories, comments and members in your [directory].
WSN works in safe mode, and this includes all file uploads. WSN also works with register_globals off, or on. It will run on any server which PHP will run on, be it Windows, Linux, BSD, or other Unix.
A cookie enabled browser is required for logging into the admin panel and using the member system. WSN avoids the common Internet Explorer 6 default security setting problem with cookies, by supplying a privacy policy header.
Either GD (normally bundled with PHP) or ImageMagick is required for image features such as thumbnails. ImageMagick is preferable if available.
