SQLite Limitations
SQLite Limitations
By Paul

When using SQLite you will not be able to use the "similar links" switch, fulltext searching or database backup. Also note that SQLite tends to run a little slower than MySQL. Upgrading fields could take a serious amount of time with large data sets, so the scalability of SQLite with WSN Knowledge Base is unknown.

If you have MySQL available, it's suggested that you use it. The primary purpose of SQLite support is for people who don't have MySQL access. If you're an expert you may have other reasons for prefering SQLite, choice is good. Also, it serves as an example and proof of concept for anyone (including the script's author) who wants to adapt WSN Knowledge Base to another database such as Oracle.
