To add or remove smilies, go to your admin panel and click the 'WSN Codes / Smilies' option under customization.

To add a new smilie, you will first need to upload the graphic file to the /images/smilies subdirectory of the template set you are using. (Note that smilies can be distinct images for each template set, although the smilie codes themselves are the same for all template sets.) Once you have done this, you can simply choose a smilie code and specify the filename of what you have just uploaded. To add a smilie which will display /images/smilies/smile.gif, you would first upload that file and then type in as the code for the user to type and smile.gif as the image file name.

To remove a smilie, find it in the list of your current smilies and click the 'delete' link next to it. Note that this does not delete the image itself from the directory, it merely ceases to use it.
