Eliminating auto-inserted <tr> tags

When you choose to have 1 or more columns per row of listings, categories, etc the script automatically inserts <tr> tags to create those rows. If you don't wish to use tables, set your number of rows (admin panel -> settings -> general appearance) to 0.
