Geolocation Targeting
Geolocation is the process of matching an IP address to a physical location, based on a database. With geolocation technology, you can know where your website's visitors are before they tell you and show them. By showing visitors their local businesses, products or information, you create an improved visitor experience which drives more sales and/or advertising revenue. Pre-fill the distance search box based on the location of the visitor's IP address, or make toplists displaying topics close to the visitor without having to prompt them about where they are. This can be especially useful for targeting sponsored topics in a business site to show them to nearby people.

Geolocation databases are proprietary and expensive, so they can't be pre-included in WSN Forum. Thanks to bulk discounts offered by the database vendors, however, we can offer it to you cheaper than if you bought on your own.
