History of WSN Software

The WebmasterSite.net PHP scripts started in August 2002 with the first release of WSN Links. It was a simplistic free script at the time, but already fully templated. By mid-2003 it grew into a more powerful paid script. The possibilities have continued to regularly expand with new releases bringing thousands of new features over the years.

WSN Gallery was spun off in 2003 as an image-oriented directory sharing all the power of WSN Links, and eventually grew to handling videos and other media. WSN Forum arrived in 2004 to provide a robust discussion platform, and WSN Knowledge Base was added to handle article directories around the same time. The latest addition to the family is WSN Classifieds, spun off in December 2007 to give full attention to the needs of classified ads sites.

The software is still developed and supported by its original creator, Paul Knierim, a PHP developer in Cameron Park, California.
